Tigers Host Strath Haven on Alumni Night

NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA -The Marple Newtown Football Alumni Association, current Head Coach Ray Gionta and the Tigers Football Team is honoring former Head Coach Jim Smith and the football alumni of 1988 through 1991 during the 2009 Alumni Night at Marple Newtown High School.

They are asking all football alumni to return for the event and game next week on October 9th, 2009 at 6:30 PM. There will be a BBQ prior to the event and additional festivities after the game. The ceremony honoring Coach Smith and the Classes of 1998-1991 will take place during halftime.

Paul Garvey (paul.garvey@oracle.com), Chris McCune (chrismccune@verizon.net) and Mark Stewart (mstewart501@hotmail.com) along with Coach Smith are helping to organize this event.
